Peptide vial codes.

The short code on a vial, such as CP10 or TSM5, stands for the compound and the amount in it. Here is what every code on a Helion vial means, how to read the rest of the label, and how to match a vial to its lab report.

Vial sizes

What each vial holds.

Peptide vial sizes are stated as the mass of peptide in the vial, not the volume of the glass. Helion's vials hold 5 mg (TSM5, tesamorelin), 10 mg (2S10 SS-31, MS10 MOTS-c, and the 5 mg + 5 mg blends CP10 and BB10) or 50 mg (CU50, GHK-Cu); bacteriostatic water is sold by volume, 3 ml (BA3). The lab report for each lot states the measured amount next to the labeled one, so the vial size can be checked against the COA Portal.

How the codes work

Letters for the compound, a number for the amount.

Each code pairs a short abbreviation of the compound with the amount in the vial: TSM5 is tesamorelin, 5 mg; MS10 is MOTS-c, 10 mg; CU50 is GHK-Cu, 50 mg; BA3 is bacteriostatic water, 3 ml. For the two blends the number is the total: BB10 and CP10 each hold 5 mg of one peptide and 5 mg of the other.

Codes like these are a labeling shortcut, not a standard. Other sellers may print similar codes for different compounds or amounts, so confirm what a vial holds from its full label and its lot's lab report rather than from the code alone.

The rest of the label

What else to check.

  • Compound and amount: the name and quantity behind the code.
  • Lot number: ties the vial to one batch and one lab report.
  • Storage: Helion labels call for 2 to 8 °C; the storage guide covers the rest.
  • Research-use-only notice: on every Helion label.
Match the vial to its report

Lot number to COA.

Find the lot number on the vial, open the COA Portal and choose the product: each published report names its lot, and that lot should match the vial. Products whose reports are still pending say so. The COA verification guide shows how to confirm a report with the lab that issued it, and how to read a COA explains each line.

Questions and sources
Questions (8)

What is TSM5?
On a Helion vial, TSM5 is tesamorelin, 5 mg per vial, supplied as a lyophilized research reference material.

What is CP10?
CJC-1295 (no DAC) plus ipamorelin, 5 mg of each, 10 mg in total per vial.

What is BB10?
Wolverine: BPC-157 plus TB-500, 5 mg of each, 10 mg in total per vial.

What is MS10?
MOTS-c, 10 mg per vial.

What is 2S10?
SS-31 (elamipretide), 10 mg per vial.

What is CU50?
GHK-Cu, the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide Gly-His-Lys, 50 mg per vial.

What does BA3 mean?
Bacteriostatic water, 3 ml per vial: sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, used as a laboratory diluent.

Are peptide vial codes standardized?
No. They are labeling shortcuts, and other sellers may use similar codes for different contents. The full label and the lot's lab report are the reliable record.
