Information we collect

To process an order we collect your name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, order contents, any order notes you write, and your Research Use Only acknowledgment. That acknowledgment is recorded as the boxes you confirm at checkout, together with the version of the terms you accepted and the time you accepted them. We never see or store your card number: card details are entered in our payment processor’s secure frame and never reach our servers.

How we use it

• To process, fulfill, and ship your orders and send order and shipping updates.
• To provide customer support and handle returns or re-verification.
• To send optional marketing or restock alerts, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses your browser’s local storage to remember your cart; your order history lives in your account. It does not require advertising cookies to function. When analytics or advertising tags are switched on they load as described under Advertising and analytics below. Every page also loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details on each page view; no order data is sent there.

How we share it

Your order is created and stored on this site, in our own order system. It is not passed to a third-party form relay, and your Research Use Only acknowledgment is stored with the order here rather than emailed onward. Our web host, Automattic (WordPress.com), operates the servers that hold it. Beyond that we share only what is necessary to run the business, and two third parties receive order information:

• Shipping carriers (FedEx, USPS): your name and shipping address, to deliver your order.
• Our card payment processor (Klero): your name, billing address, email, and the order amount, to authorize the card. Your card number is entered in their secure frame and never reaches our servers.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise this store, and to know which of those ads actually work we send a record of certain actions to the platforms we advertise on: Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and Google Analytics. What is sent is the action you took, such as viewing a compound, adding one to your cart, or completing an order, along with the order value and the items. Where an order is involved we also send a scrambled, one-way version of your email address and phone number, which lets a platform recognize a customer it already knows without us handing over the address itself. We do not send your name, your street address, or anything about what the compounds are.

You can stop most of this at the source. Browser tracking protection, an ad blocker, or the “Limit ad tracking” setting on your phone all prevent the browser half from loading, and every major browser lets you block third-party cookies outright.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and security

We keep order records as long as needed for business and legal purposes and use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission is perfectly secure.

Your Research Use Only acknowledgment. The boxes you confirm at checkout, the terms version and the time are kept with the order for as long as we keep the order itself. They are visible only to Helion staff and are never shared.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@helionresearchusa.com. You must be 21 or older to use this site; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
