What happened to Peptide Sciences?
Peptide Sciences, which The Peptide List called the largest research peptide vendor in America, stopped selling on March 6, 2026, when a short notice replaced its online store. Here is what the company's own notices said, dated from archived copies of its website, and what to check before you buy from anyone else.
It shut down by its own choice.
On March 6, 2026 the store at peptidesciences.com was replaced by a notice saying the company had decided to “voluntarily shut down operations and discontinue the sale of our research products.” The notice gave no reason. The Peptide List reported that it appeared at about 2:00 PM Eastern that day, and an archived copy from January 3, 2026 still shows a working store with account and order pages.
The latest archived copy we found, from October 12, 2026, shows the same shutdown notice and no catalog. Last checked October 27, 2026.
Seven dates, each with a source.
| Date | What changed | Source |

| March 8, 2026 | Earliest archived copy of the notice: the company has voluntarily shut down and stopped selling its research products. | Archive copy |
| March 21, 2026 | The notice adds that anyone claiming to be Peptide Sciences, its successor or a seller of its products is unauthorized, and gives a customer service address. | Archive copy |
| April 15, 2026 | A revised notice adds that the company keeps all rights to its name, brand and trademarks and will enforce them. | Archive copy |

| October 12, 2026 | Latest archived copy: the same notice, no products and no cart. | Archive copy |
No return has been announced.
None of the notices mentions reopening. They describe the end of sales and, since April 2026, say the company authorizes no third party to use its name, brand or likeness. Any store presenting itself as the new or continued Peptide Sciences is, by the company's own account, not connected to it.
Check the address before you order.
- Read the domain. A similar name, an extra word or a different ending is a different website. The original domain shows only the notice.
- Treat old links with care. Saved bookmarks, coupon pages and forum links can lead to sites that reuse the name or its product photos.
- A familiar brand proves nothing. What tells you what is in a vial is a lab report for that lot, from a lab you can check.
The same checks apply to every vendor.
Ask for the report for the exact lot, confirm it with the lab that issued it, and make sure it covers identity by mass spectrometry as well as HPLC purity, plus content and endotoxin. Where to buy peptides sets out seven checks, how to read a peptide COA explains each line of a report, and how to verify a COA shows how to confirm one with the lab.
Helion's reports come from ILS Laboratories, name their lot and carry a Verify at ILS link in the COA Portal; every compound page lists its sequence, formula and molecular weight, and every product is labeled for research use only. Orders ship from the U.S.
