What is GLOW peptide?

GLOW is a market name for a three-peptide research blend, also called the GLOW stack: GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500, most often sold as a 70 mg vial. Here is what is in it, what each component is, and how to check what a GLOW vial actually holds.

What's in GLOW

Three peptides in one vial.

ComponentUsual amountWhat it isMass (g/mol)
GHK-Cu50 mgCopper(II) complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide Gly-His-Lys340.4 (GHK, without copper)
BPC-15710 mgA 15-amino-acid sequence first described from a gastric protein1419.5
TB-50010 mgThe acetylated 17-23 fragment of thymosin beta-4, Ac-LKKTETQ889.0

Amounts as sellers commonly list them for a 70 mg vial, often labeled GLOW 70. The name is not a standard, so for any specific vial the label and the lot's lab report are the record.

GHK-Cu

Most of the vial.

By weight, GLOW is mostly GHK-Cu: 50 of the 70 mg. GHK (Gly-His-Lys) is a naturally occurring, high-affinity copper(II) chelator found in blood plasma, and structural work found it holds copper through its N-terminal amine, the amide nitrogen between glycine and histidine, and histidine's imidazole. It is one of the most widely cited peptides in cell-culture and preclinical work on skin and connective tissue.

BPC-157 and TB-500

The Wolverine pair.

The other 20 mg are BPC-157 and TB-500, 10 mg each: the same pair sold on its own as Wolverine. BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid sequence first described from a gastric protein; TB-500 is the acetylated seven-residue fragment Ac-LKKTETQ of thymosin beta-4. They are unrelated molecules with separate literatures; BPC-157 vs TB-500 and TB-500 vs thymosin beta-4 cover each.

Checking a vial

Three masses, one report.

A blend's lab report has to address every component: an identity result for GHK-Cu says nothing about BPC-157 or TB-500. Mass spectrometry can confirm all three by their masses; check them in the calculator: GHK, BPC-157, TB-500. For a mixture, ask whether purity is reported per component or for the blend as a whole.

Helion's last GLOW 70 lot, GL03, was tested by ILS Laboratories: 99.88% HPLC purity, identity confirmed, endotoxin below 0.05 EU/mL, and 74.02 mg measured against the 70 mg label. The report is in the COA Portal.

At Helion

GLOW's components, sold separately.

Helion does not currently list GLOW. It supplies all three of its components in two products: GHK-Cu 50mg (CU50), lot CU501 at 99.92% HPLC purity, and Wolverine (BB10), 5mg BPC-157 + 5mg TB-500 per vial, whose current lot report is in progress. Both are for laboratory research use only. What is KLOW peptide? covers the four-peptide version.

Questions and sources
Questions (6)

What is GLOW peptide?
A market name for a research blend of three peptides: GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500, most often sold as a 70 mg vial.

What is in GLOW?
Commonly 50 mg GHK-Cu and 10 mg each of BPC-157 and TB-500. Contents vary by seller, so check the label and the lot's lab report.

What is the GLOW stack?
Another name for the same blend of GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500.

What is GLOW 70?
A 70 mg vial of the GLOW blend, commonly 50 mg GHK-Cu plus 10 mg each of BPC-157 and TB-500.

How is GLOW different from KLOW?
KLOW adds a fourth peptide, KPV, the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH, to GLOW's three.

Does Helion sell GLOW?
Not currently. Helion supplies its three components in GHK-Cu 50mg and Wolverine (BPC-157 + TB-500), for laboratory research use only.
